Nike Adds A Dose Of The Early 1990s With The Air Max 90 “Chlorophyll”

Nike Adds A Dose Of The Early 1990s With The Air Max 90 “Chlorophyll”

The Nike Air Max 90, after taking back its vintage shape, has been all over the place in terms of inspiration: it’s seen a vast array of locales as part of its city pack, a wealth of vibrant takes in subtle mimicry of easter, and now homages to some of its 1990 peers, specifically the Air Trainer 1. Though dressed to the likeness of its coveted “Chlorophyll” scheme, the runner is more obviously attuned with its OG color blocking, though it favors a much more widespread use of white in replacement of the usual grey leathers. Matching mesh bases sit adjacent and behind while mudguards below opt for a dark black just as the heel tab and the topmost eye stay. Titular shades then weave their way through in seldom — quite similar to its muse — only using the green at the radial molds embedded into and onto the side profile, the tip of the tread, and the branding at the tongue patch. Grab a detailed look at these here and expect a release to hit Nike.com soon.
