The Jordan Air Max 200 Receives A Statement Black/Volt Colorway

The months-old Jordan Air Max 200 has unquestionably been overshadowed by Jordan Brand’s other models. Even its special Super Bowl LIV release took a backseat as J Balvin debuted a history-making Air Jordan 1 collaboration at the Miami-held event. And yet, the hybrid-silhouette is here to stay as its recently emerged in soft pastels, and now offers a compelling “Altitude Green”-variant.

The Jordan Air Max 200 combines design elements from fan-favorites of Michael Jordan’s signature sneaker line, namely Jordan 4, with the Nike Air Max 200‘s cushioning to create a comfortable lifestyle silhouette rooted in Jumpman heritage. Uppers are constructed with textile around the toe box, up the laces and throughout the heel, while synthetic material fills in the gaps throughout. “Black” and “Dark Grey” cover top halves, save for the hits of “Volt” visible through transparent profile windows, with “MAX-200,” Jumpman and “NIKE AIR” logos throughout favoring the (slightly) lighter of the two. Down below, the dark arrangements are abandoned in favor of white and more neon green; the former runs the entirety of the midsole, but is interrupted at the heel as the latter brightens-up the visible Air unit.

If you’re interested in picking up this lifestyle silhouette, pairs are available right now on Nike.com for $125 USD.
