Nike Pushes Pink Onto The Air Max 270 React

Despite welcoming 2020 with re-engineered uppers, the Nike Air Max 270 React hasn’t slowed down its release cycle. While some of its recent styles nod to ACG and Air Max heritage, the inspiration behind an upcoming “Pink Foam” iteration is less obvious.

Rose-colored arrangements are nothing new to the hybrid-silhouette, but their execution on this particular pair is. Mixed textile and synthetic uppers heavily favor a pastel tinge, but a “Digital Pink” strip lines their sidewalls from forefoot to ankle. Tongue, laces and collars steer the Air Max 270 React back on its “Pink Foam” course, but surrounding basketball leather overlays introduce yet another salmon shade. Though new to the lifestyle model, the dimpled-texture recently appeared much more prominently on an Air Jordan 1 Mid for women. Elsewhere, the Air Max 270 React also features “White” profile Swooshes, “Sail” midsoles and “Pink Foam” outsoles.

Full release details for this Air Max 270 React or its possible wider collection haven’t been revealed yet, but that’ll likely change as Nike’s Air Max Day plans unfold ahead of March 26th. Until then, grab a closer look at this pink pair below.
