The Nike Air Max 2090 Is Revealed In White And Silver

With All-Star Weekend having passed, Nike is back to celebrating their beloved Air Max 90, continuing celebrations with not only an ever-growing breadth of current colorways but also the official debut of the forward thinking Air Max 2090. Inspired by the year from which it borrows its namesake, the pair is far removed from the OGs — a century to be exact. And though its every design has been altered quite heavily, the new model still retains the general shape, using it as a canvas on which to build up. Soles, the profile, and even the aggressively accented heel counter are all reminiscent with their finer points though most unique: uppers, specifically, are shrouded by a technical nylon shell with overlaid taping taking the form of the swoosh; elsewhere, heel tabs are molded with protruding ridges much like the back of the bottom itself. Mudguards stitch unto the side in oversized shape, colored with bright white to further complement the grey that outfits the majority of the palette. Grab a detailed look at these once more right here and expect to find them arriving possibly later this March at select shops and certainly Nike.com.
