The Nike Air Max 2090 Is Set To Debut In This Colorway In March

Though inspired by the future, some of the Nike Air Max 2090s have been relatively grounded in contemporary fashion, utilizing a strong range of neutrals that mostly contrast its narrative. But amongst its expansive debut set to hit later next month, there are quite a few energetic standouts that make minimal though also impactful use of powerful neon tones. This latest, which may just be the inaugural release of the entire range, undoubtedly capitalizes on its unique traits: a set of constructions that — while still a direct reference to the coveted Air Max 90 — is dialed forward by exactly a decade. In terms of palette, white lies at the helm with almost every one of the leather mudguards, technical bases, and tooling elements dress to the colorless neutral; it’s the accents that infuse futuristic color with metropolis level lighting taking the take-down form of vibrant blue and red stitch or similarly colored tread pieces and heel pulls. Elsewhere, black obstruct at the underlying heel counter and tongues, with the distinct overt even behind the sheer synthetic layer. Grab a close-up look at these here and expect to find them hitting Nike SNKRS and select retailers on March 26th.

In other Swoosh-related news, the Zoom Spiridon Caged has been revived from 2003.
