COMME des GARÇONS Reveals Nike Air Force 1 Mid Collaboration At Paris Fashion Week

While new collaborators join the Nike family nearly every day, only so few match up to the creative energy of COMME des GARÇONS whose vast universe of diffusion labels have spread roots throughout not only fashion-related subcultures but also the world of sneakers. Coming off their alluringly avant-garde trio of Air Max 95s, the imprint’s mainline is finally joining the conversation once again with the Swoosh by their side, hitting the Paris Fashion Week runways with the subtle placement of a collaborative Air Force 1 Mid. Marked with their namesake on the strap in bold lettering, the triple white colorway seems to use the OG constructions as a base, leveraging its recognizable lines in a deconstructed fashion that reminds of the aforementioned 95 as its panels extend passed the stitch in uncut form. These extra materials can be seen at the heel wrap, eye stay, vamp, and everything in between while branding — except for the outlined swoosh — stays relatively true to form. Grab a quick look at what was unveiled earlier and expect to see a premium price tag later in the Autumn/Winter ’20 season.

In other high fashion news, the Margiela x Reebok Instapump Fury is confirmed to be releasing in September 2020.
