Nike’s D/MS/X Signal Cleans Up With White And Cream Uppers

Nike’s D/MS/X Signal Cleans Up With White And Cream Uppers

Recent experimentation under the NIKE, Inc. umbrella has brought forth new takes on old designs: Converse All Star Disrupt CX, Nike Air Force 1 Shadow and Air Jordan 1 Zoom, among others. But while impressive, these updates are simply that – updates – especially when compared to models like the Signal D/MS/X.

Introduced Summer 2019, the Signal D/MS/X (read: “DimSix”) celebrates Nike’s legacy in vanguard style. Unlike the model’s latest, previous iterations have reveled in eye-catching color schemes fit for their car reconstruction-inspired canvas. “White” uppers are reminiscent of ZoomX Vaporfly NEXT%, though they feature Nexkin, a more durable and weather-ready stretch-woven material previously seen on the VaporMax 2019. Light grey and “Sail” overlays throughout are entirely future-thinking, though the Presto-like collar proffer some familiarity. Branding across the midfoot, tongue and heel deviate from the light hues and boast a “Black” composition also found at the midsole plate and outsole. Sandwiched in-between, “White” foam cushioning and its adjacent molded TPU shank complete the clean arrangement.

Grab a closer look at the experimental Signal D/MS/X here below while you wait for pairs to arrive on Nike.com in the coming weeks.

Elsewhere on the Beaverton campus, the Jordan Delta, a new lifestyle option built atop React cushioning, has been prepped for a launch on April 18th.
