Paul George’s Love For The Outdoors Shines With The Nike PG4 “PCG”

Paul George’s Love For The Outdoors Shines With The Nike PG4 “PCG”

It’s not the glitz of Beverly Hills that drew Paul George back to his home state of California – it’s his favorite pastime of fishing. The Clippers superstar and Nike started off their signature shoe partnership with a special edition friends-and-family only iteration inspired by the love for that outdoor sport, and since then it’s evolved into a cross-over with Nike’s outdoor-focused constituency known as ACG. Remixing the iconic mountain-shaped triangle logo, Nike replaces the three-lettered acronym to PCG while applying colorways fit for the world outside.

Seen here for the first time, the PG 4 “PCG” makes use of a transparent upper with black netting, exposing the red “ribs” on the interior that provide the lace lockdown. The midsole is painted a muddy tan.brown hue, while a miniature forefoot Swoosh is placed at the very base of the zipper. A release date is unknown, but likely to arrive this Summer.

In other upcoming Nike Basketball news, the KD 13 is set to officially release on April 17th.

UPDATE (05/01/2020):
The Nike PG 4 “PCG” launches on May 14th on Nike SNKRS.
