The Nike KD Trey 5 VIII Is Hitting Retailers Now

It feels like ages since we’ve seen Kevin Durant dominate on the basketball floor, and while the next time we’ll receive that opportunity is still in question, luckily we have the ability to stay associated to the two-time champion through his sneaker drops. Although die-hard fans are eagerly anticipating the official launches of his KD 13 in the coming weeks, the lanky scoring machine is providing some supporting releases in the meantime through his latest KD Trey 5 series. Similar to LeBron James’ Soldier lineup, the KD Trey V has always served as Durant’s alternative/more budget-friendly lineage, and his VIII silhouette is now available to the masses. Shape draws heavy connections to his previous KD 12 signature, but deviate heavily through its materials as the forefoot is comprised of woven fabric sporting a Chevron-like pattern, accompanied by Swooshes that vary in length between its lateral/medial walls, and heel paneling executed in a breathable mesh. Additionally, the treading is supported with Swoosh’s full length Renew cushioning technology for a springy bounce in your step. Two colorways including a red/black and white/blue are available now on Nike.com for $90, so take a closer look here below before you secure a pair for yourself.

In other Swoosh news, here’s a detailed look at the Off-White Nike Rubber Dunk.
