The Nike Air Max 2090 Goes Bold With “Fire Pink” And “Flash Crimson”

Touted as Nike’s “current shoe of the future,” the Air Max 2090 has had one of the most consistent post-launch roll-outs in recent memory, as it now adds a bold-accented “Iced Lilac” colorway to its roster.

Proudly rooted in the DNA of the Air Max 90, which celebrates its 30th Anniversary this year, the newest Air Max silhouette boasts extended mudguards, cassettes and waffle outsoles. The futuristic take, however, revels in variably opaque materials, exposed zig-zag stitching and updated “AIR” logos that inject a unique identity into the Air Max 2090. Hits of “Flash Crimson” make a statement throughout the transparent fabric upper, appearing most prominently towards the heel. Similarly, “Fire Pink” peeks out from under the “Iced Lilac” bases, ultimately taking over the Air Max 200 unit’s enclosure underneath. “Black” Airbags join identically-colored tread to add some subtlety into the mix.

Take a closer look at this Air Max 2090 here below and find it arriving to retailers on May 7th in women’s sizes.

Elsewhere under The Swoosh umbrella, an angelic Zoom Spiridon Cage 2 has recently surfaced.
