This Nike Air Force 1 Is Inspired By New York’s Famous Rucker Park

New York City’s Rucker Park located in the Harlem neighborhood is home to some of the most exciting basketball festivities in history. So to honor this iconic destination, Nike is readying a special pair of classic Air Force 1 Lows to immortalize its stamp on hoops culture. Similar to an Air Flight ’89 that was officially revealed earlier this month, this forthcoming option translates the jersey colors worn by the players during the court’s annual Entertainer’s Basketball Classic. Leather uppers constructions are left to a mostly white composition, and married up with tapings, sock liners, Nike branding, and treading all swathed in a vibrant orange. Echoing its motif, you’ll find an additional Swoosh logo with the numbers “10039” stacked on top to speak to the park’s zip code, followed by a ball-shaped enamel dubrae atop the lower throat. Check out a detailed look below, and find these dropping on Nike.com and at select retailers in the coming weeks for $110.

In other news, details have surfaced regarding the upcoming Jordan Quai 54 collection.
