The Nike Air Max 97 Returns To OG Form With Royal Blue And Neon

The Nike Air Max 97 Returns To OG Form With Royal Blue And Neon

In 2020, Nike has kept its beloved Air Max 97 consistently popping up in a myriad of GR-focused colorways, some of which were relative to special holidays/events this year such as Valentine’s Day, Easter, and the now-postponed Summer 2020 Olympics. And after recently confirming word of another collaboration with streetwear stalwart UNDEFEATED, the classic Sportswear staple is now taking a stab at an OG color palette. Bringing to light the OG “Royal Blue/Neon” makeup that once saw a retro release in 2017, this latest take certainly draws inspiration from this muse, but remixes the schemes slightly so it can stand on its own. Its oceanic mudguards and neon Swooshes are still left intact, however the upper now welcomes in a black background, blue throat, and singular green overlay. Additionally, the Air cushioning which once saw their units dyed to a volt yellow have now been traded out for a a “Royal Blue” swathe. Scroll here below to peak at their official images and find these dropping in the coming weeks on Nike.com for $170.
