The adidas NMD R1 “Active Gold” Is Dropping On June 1st

When looking at some of adidas Originals’ most recent initiatives you can’t help but notice the measurable amount of effort they’ve put into their pushing the NMD R1 as they’ve cranked out a wide array of colorways this season. From Pride Month-inspired themes to souvenir jacket-style decorations, the Three Stripes mainstay has showed face in louder fashion as of late, but it’s toning things back down to more a minimal tee for its next installment. Going with a simple two-toned aesthetic, this forthcoming colorway swathes its textile upper in the German brand’s standard “Core Black”, and hues its stripes, midsole molds, tongues, and heel counter in “Active Gold” for a palette that come in very close proximity to Pittsburgh Steelers team colors. If you’re interested in scooping up a pair, they will be dropping on adidas.com on June 1st for $140 USD in tandem with a blue and white colorway.

In other news, the Triple Black Yeezy 700 MNVN releases on May 23rd.
