Nike And Converse BeTrue/Pride 2020 Collection Highlighted By Spectrum Of Rainbow Colors

Nike And Converse BeTrue/Pride 2020 Collection Highlighted By Spectrum Of Rainbow Colors

Nike’s BeTrue initiative continues its dedication to the LGBTQIA+ community with a special capsule of footwear decorated in the rainbow colors. Included in this set is the Air Max 2090, build with transparent uppers with exposed stitches and seams; an Air Force 1 Low with the rainbow on the heel tab and midsole logo with brogue-style perforations on the toe; an ACG Deschutz with a miniature pouch on the heel.

The footwear may get all the attention, but Nike’s been devoted to equality causes for decades, championing efforts for equal opportunity/pay/benefits to all. This year in particular, Nike is supporting more than 20 organizations focused on advancing the LGBTQIA+ community with grants administered by the Charities Aid Foundation of America. These organizations range from local to national, including the LGBT Center of Los Angeles, Portland Frontrunners, GLBT Historical Society Museum, Campus Pride and You Can Play.

The entire collection is confirmed to release on June 5th in Greater China and June 19th globally on Nike.com and select retailers. See the official images of the footwear below and stay tuned for closer looks at the footwear as the drop date nears.

In other Nike news, the Swoosh confirmed a May 29th release for the Travis Scott Air Max 270 React ENG.
