The adidas Superstar Goes Wild With Cheetah Print

The adidas Superstar has been celebrating 50 years of being iconic all 2020. It’s dressed up in the subdued, 24K gold, and even as the Stan Smith. And while impressive, these iterations are undeniably overshadowed in their wildness when compared to the shell-toe’s upcoming cheetah print-laden ensemble.

As with pairs for Pride Month 2020 or even those in collaboration with Prada, uppers on this release are predominantly “Cloud White.” The Superstar‘s most signature details – rubber toe, flat laces, and serrated profile 3-Stripes – all boast a pristine palette. “Core Black” cheetah print enters the mix all-throughout the midfoot and tongue, though the hue becomes tame at the heel overlay as it adds contrast to trefoil logos. Lateral “SUPERSTAR” text interrupts the otherwise “yin-and-yang” color scheme in “Gold Metallic;” the shimmering touch also lands on branding on the sockliner. Underfoot, the 50-year-old icon stays true to its classic style with an all-“Cloud White” sole unit.

Enjoy a closer look at this women’s Superstar here below and find pairs arriving to adidas.com on June 1st for $90 USD.

Elsewhere under The Three Stripes umbrella, the “Black” Yeezy MNVN 700 re-releases on May 23rd.
