The Nike Waffle Racer Joins the 2020 “Worldwide” Pack

The Nike Waffle Racer Joins the 2020 “Worldwide” Pack

Although its appearances are rather more occasional, the Waffle Racer has, in most recently months, taken on collaborative projects with the likes off CDG and Off-White, and even teased an interesting new Waffle Racer Crater silhouette with Space Hippie outsoles said to be arriving early next year. And now its original model is being pushed back to the frontlines again; this time to join in on Nike’s “Worldwide” Pack. Similar to other pairs in the capsule such as the Air Force 1, it’s the accents here that do most of the talking. Right off the bat, doses of “Green Abyss” Swooshes, as well as the neon-colored heel tabs stand out overtly. Additionally, the flecked laces/tongue logos usher in more vibrant essence through their sunshine pigments, and the base layers are wallpapered with a multi-colored speckle pattern that can most likely only be seen from an up-close perspective. Peep a gallery of more images here ahead, and find these dropping likely within the coming weeks on Nike.com and at select retailers for $85.

Elsewhere in Nike news, the University Red Dunks are now dropping on 7/1 in the US.
