KANGHYUK’s Reebok Premier Road Modern To Release Exclusively At Dover Street Market London

KANGHYUK, though relatively new to the Reebok family, already has a handful of notable releases under their belt — the past few bearing a bespoke-like construction as part of the Boston footwear brand’s Advanced Concepts Sole Fury collection. Now, with a release slated for early July, the Korean label is set to follow up their past works with something brand new: the Premier Road Modern.

Effectively the spiritual successor to the now defunct Premier Running line-up, the collaboration leverages an overall performance design and pivots it towards an aesthetic fitting of designers Kanghyuk Choi and Sanglak Shon. DMX Ride toolings, one-piece flow molded uppers, and cushioned foam tongues deliver all the makings of a finely engineered runner, while the elements in between filter in the beloved KANGHYUK ethos. Rubber overlays add bulk and dimension all across, some taking the shape of vector logos while others serve visual purpose with aggressive angles and sharp points. Underneath, the mesh — while unassuming along the profile — is inflated to an eclectic point as it squeezes out from within the panel-clad toe box. “KANGHYUK” logo hits then dress quietly atop the triple black colorway, a palette choice that seems to reference tires as a nod to frequently used motifs.

Grab a detailed look at these right here and expect a release to arrive exclusively at Dover Street Market London on July 3rd.
