New Balance Revisits The 1300JP With Made In Japan Construction

Though New Balance has received quite a bit of buzz for their newer 327, the brand’s most dedicated following have stuck around mostly for beloved icons such as the 1300. And among its various general releases and collaborations, the silhouette is arguably most well known for its JP variant: a series of issues that brings classic construction every five years. Fresh off the heels of its latest release, the capsule looks to be catching a second wind over in Japan as the overseas outpost ushers in some striking Made in Japan production. Produced with handmade quality, each pair displays an expensive feel with a look true to the original. Nubuck is heavily utilized across much of the overlays, bearing a dark grey finish that wraps from the toe cap backwards. Underneath, the material is then re-utilized in lieu of traditional mesh, finishing off the signature “Steel Blue” palette. Grab a look at these right here and find the lottery up on newbalance.jp; the specialty pair retails for a large 74,800 Yen and will be available July 17th.
