KICKS LAB Employs Premium Navy Suede On Their adidas Campus Collaboration

adidas, as exhibited by the NMD and adjacent city runners, has always been enamored with Japanese culture, and as such, the brand consistently enlists help from the country’s finest designers and boutiques. Harajuku-based KICKS LAB, who has spent quite a bit of time with the Three Stripes prior, is now back once again as they prepare to dress up the beloved Campus in some premium suede construction. For the most part understated, the collaborative offering doesn’t stray too far past the lines of the original blueprint — constructions are kept simple and panels are left where they usually rest. Only the palette itself sees the largest change, as the imprint opts to envelop the suede upper in dark navy and everything else in a dark black. “Campus” and tongue branding bear a sheen in contrast to the adjacent finishes while the trefoil on the back stands apart in its bright white. Alongside, the set to arrive with a co-branded tote bag marked with all-over graphic. Retailing for 9,990 Yen, the pair is set to release overseas exclusively at KICKS LAB on July 4th.

In other news, the KANGHYUK Premier Road Modern releases this July as well.
