A Patriotic Nike Shox R4 Arrives For The July 4th Holiday

Given that this Saturday the USA will be celebrating the country’s annual 4th of July Independence Day, Nike has gotten into the spirit of the holiday by furnishing several of their silhouettes with the red, white, and blue. The Sportswear division, after spinning models such as the Air Max 97 and Air Max 90 FlyEase with the patriotic motif, is now extending an invite to the Shox R4 to join the mix.

Exchanging the black and gold tones seen on its last makeup for a three-toned arrangement, these Shox kicks cover its textured lateral/medial panels in “Midnight Navy”, and embroider a vibrant “University Red” Swoosh into the middle. Its four-piece set of pistons down below matches that of the latter, and its toe tip/heightened leather overlays complete its American flag inspo with white exteriors. These are available now at select retailers, but be on the lookout for Nike.com to drop them soon for $140.

For other patriotic kicks, the Kyrie 6 USA releases on July 3rd.
