2020’s Nike Zoom Vomero 5 “Bright Crimson” Returns On August 6th

2020’s Nike Zoom Vomero 5 “Bright Crimson” Returns On August 6th

Updated July 24th, 2024: After bringing back “Racer Blue” and “Electric Green” Vomero 5s at the end of May, Beaverton is revisiting that well again. Essentially a palette swap of those tone-on-silver styles, the Nike Zoom Vomero 5 “Bright Crimson” from that same original retro run is hitting shelves again.

SNKRS has this pair loaded up for an August 6th release date and a $160 retail price. Both of those aforementioned shoes ended up hitting retailers shortly after, so keep your eyes peeled for the same treatment this time around. Below you’ll find a “Where To Buy” store list for launch day. Further down the page, you can catch official images and our original coverage surrounding this pair, written leading up to its last appearance in 2020 (!!).

Original article posted July 15th, 2020: After being reinterpreted by Samuel Ross’ A-Cold-Wall*, Nike’s Zoom Vomero 5 was able to carve out a new lane for itself in terms of being viewed as a very worthy lifestyle option as opposed to simply just another running shoe. Since then, its assortment of SE SP colorways have attracted crowds both for their extreme comfort and striking colorways. Following the release of the trio of black/white, blue/white/ and green/white makeups that dropped last year, the model is piling on one more entry to its portfolio this year.

Greyscale hues remain in their identical places by alternating between its midfoot overlays and heel counters, but the mesh paneling and outsoles stand out overtly due to the nature of their striking red vibrance. You can capture a more in-depth look here below, and find these hitting Nike.com and select Swoosh stockists on July 15th for $150 USD.
