The Air Jordan 1 Mid Attaches Tri-Color Webbing To Its Side Profile

Either an extremely loose nod to MJ’s post-injury Air Jordan 1 or a simple tweak for aesthetic alone, the Air Jordan 1 Mid as well as the Low have attached some additional webbing to their side profile, a strip that blends into its multicolor background with a condensed swatch of the surrounding colorway. Hit with a small bit of red and two louder hits of aqua and navy, the stitched on detail plays well as it extends from the heel to the tooling, looping underneath the ankle flaps and warping above the neutral-colored swoosh. Mid-panels are dressed with a much fuller display of red, while the toe cap, eye stay, and collar are toned down with a full kit of black leather. Cool tones finish along the heel, leaving enough room for the usual Wings insignia. Grab a detailed look at these right here and expect to find this pair — and possibly a few others — at Nike.com within the coming months.

In other news, the Jordan Zoom 92 was just officially announced.
