Nike Covers The Air Max 95 In A “Naija” Mosaic

Bearing one of the most recognizable patterns in the world of professional football, Nigeria has become a popular icon for their presence on the field. Clad in neon tones and fashionable jerseys, the team has arguably set the tone for sportswear style and it seems such influence is bleeding into even Nike’s own mainline releases. The Air Max 95, just as the Presto before it, is seeing to the vibrant “Naija” themes complete with commemorative insignia along the insole. The side profile, whose layers mix together various materials of different texture and shade, cascade downwards with patterns of illusory lines and a multitude of different geometric shapes. Elsewhere, black midsoles are marked with matching green air units and toe caps of similarly dark suede fabric. Tongues opt for the same neutral though in ripstop, contrasting that of the eye stay loops whose saturated green webbing bears even more symbols. Grab an official look at these right here and expect a release to arrive at Nike.com hopefully soon.

In other news, the Nike Dunk Low Ceramic is finally returning later this year.
