First Look At The UNION LA x Air Jordan 4 “Guava Ice”

First Look At The UNION LA x Air Jordan 4 “Guava Ice”

While UNION LA‘s Air Jordan 1 is widely regarded as one of the best collaborations of the last few years, the brand’s upcoming Jordan 4 has been more divisive. Yet, that isn’t stopping the Los Angeles-based retailer from moving forward with a newly-surfaced “Guava Ice” version of its next NIKE, Inc. project.

Akin to the first-teased pair, this alternate Air Jordan retro features red and blue accents across eye-stays, collars, and heels. Branding on the tongue, which has been shortened, boasts an eye-catching scarlet hue; “NIKE AIR” text at the rear follows suit, but is accompanied by a stark blue backdrop instead of a black one. Ankle flaps keep their translucent construction, but are surrounded by light tan suede overlays. Mesh across the Jordan 4’s tongue and midfoot indulge in a yellowed finish, while its arrangement on the toe box is done in white. Underfoot, sole units up the vintage aesthetic as they don a fully-yellowed makeup only interrupted by the ostensibly aged visible Airbag and outsole detailing.

Enjoy a closer look at UNION LA’s Jordan 4 “Guava Ice” ahead, while you wait for the pair’s tentative launch in August exclusively via UNION LA.

In other confirmed Jordan release dates, the women’s Jordan 3 Laser Orange arrive on August 21st for kids and toddlers, too.

UPDATE (08/06/2020):
