Recycled Fabrics Dress Up The Nike Air Force 1 “Iron Grey”

Sustainability and the “Move to Zero” mindset has infected nearly all of the Nike umbrella, setting forth a wave of earth-conscious silhouettes such as the Jordan Crater and Vapormax 2020. And while the two are overt in their use of scraps and leftover fabrics, the forthcoming Air Force 1 “Iron Grey” ushers in a new approach that favors subtlety and a bit of restraint. Its upper, which bears a dark grey all throughout, masks a number of differing threads whose brighter color are apparent upon closer inspection. Hits of red, green, and blue are scattered from toe to heel, accenting in match of the minuscule speckling that dresses the tooling’s white and blue hue. Elsewhere, Volt green branding at the heel and tongue stand out against their white backdrop, the tongue delivers a melded mosaic of pastels, and the insole cushions with a likely repurposed foam. Grab a detailed look at these here and sit tight for further word on their Nike.com release.

In other news, the Daybreak Type Crater has also recently revealed.
