Vans Turns The Slip-On And Era Into Blank Canvases With U-Color Collection

Vans Turns The Slip-On And Era Into Blank Canvases With U-Color Collection

Responsible for several silhouettes that have served as initial canvases to some aspiring creatives, Vans has recently launched the U-Color Collection. The Slip-On and Era-featuring set not only nods to expressive individuals everywhere, but also to its earliest retail days in which customers could bring in their own materials for a truly one-of-a-kind shoe.

The laceless model boasts a “True White” canvas upper laden with black outlined tattoo-inspired graphics. Rose motifs join “SINCE SIXTY SIX” text and other playful images on the Slip-On, which begs to be animated with color. While forgoing the characters found on its co-star, one pair of the Era boasts an array of hand-drawn flowers throughout its top-half. The second iteration of the 1976-silhouette keeps things simple with its blank checkerboard pattern. Underfoot, however, this Era features partial phrases to be uniquely completed by its wearer. All three options under the U-Color Collection also lend their sockliners to personal style as the clean canvas isn’t only bound to the upper.

Enjoy a look at the the customizable Eras and Slip-Ons below, and head over to Vans.com right now to secure your pair in either adult or kid’s sizing.
