adidas To Drop A Set Of Adilette Slides Inspired By Iconic Silhouettes

adidas To Drop A Set Of Adilette Slides Inspired By Iconic Silhouettes

Until a vaccine is created hopefully sometime in 2021, quarantining and WFH will be considered the new norm for many people across the globe. And given the fact that many folks are for the most part staying inside with their coziest of fits, sportswear brands are starting to capitalize on this by releasing multiple footwear options that play into the “bummy” look. For example, Reebok ushered in their Beatniks, Nike dropped the ACG Deschutz, and now adidas is aiming to chime in on the conversation with the unveiling of more Adilette slides.

Departing from the normal two-toned colorways that it seems like many IG influencers own nowadays, this forthcoming batch is unique because they are inspired by that of adidas classics. Four OG colorways of models such as the ZX 8000, NMD R1, Micropacer, and SL 72 are translated onto each piece, and further expressed by a literal aerial graphic of each respective silhouette atop the footbeds. Grab a closer look at each style here below, and find these dropping on August 23rd on adidas.com for $60 a piece.

In other news the adidas ZX 5000 Joshua Tree is set to drop on 8/21.
