With Nike officially set to bring the Kobe 5 Protro back onto the market for the first time since Kobe’s tragic passing in January, the biggest Black Mamba fans will be treated with a full delivery of colorways both newly conceived and nostalgically charged. For Mamba Week, we have the Kobe 5 “Big Stage”, Kobe 5 “5x Champ”, Kobe 5 “Girls EYBL”, and Undefeated Kobe 5, but already in place for a future drop are both Bruce Lee Kobe 5 shoes and the return of the “5 Rings”. Featuring a purple-to-yellow gradient and a laser-etched mosaic depicting Kobe’s great accomplishments, this highly revered Kobe 5 originally dropped in the Summer of 2010 after the Laker legend won his fifth NBA title. It appears to be returning soon in Protro form, with none of the exterior being changed. Check out the images below and stay tuned for updates.
