Efforts from Nike to produce products that are simultaneously wearable and sustainable is present through their ongoing “Move to Zero” initiative. So far, we’ve seen this play out through various footwear releases such as the popular Space Hippies, the Sportswear Recycled Pack, and more. And given the nature of the current buzz around the Dunk, it was only going to be a matter of time before recycled pieces landed on the silhouette. And that moment appears to be arriving here shortly in the form of the forthcoming Nike Dunk Low “Community Garden”

While these have been previewed last month via on-foot photos, a gallery of official images have now made been uploaded onto the web, essentially confirming that a release can potentially be just around the corner. Uppers, which are built from recycled turquoise and red canvas, are covered in various patterns from various floral graphics, to bleached tie-dye, to yellow polka dots, all of which are linked with Swooshes, heel overlays, and laces swathed in titular hues. Directly below, the treading complements with a muted yellow background and scrappy speckle finishes. Sit tight for further word on their Nike.com release, and check out a detailed look here ahead.

For other news, first images of the Supreme Nike Air Max Plus have surfaced.

UPDATE (09/02/2020):
Initially dubbed the Nike Dunk Low “Lemon Wash” for its use of the hue, this release is being touted as the “Community Garden” flora-inspiration. Furthermore, like a community garden, this pair mixes urban with nature.
