LA’s Free & Easy Teams With Vans Vault For A West Coast Capsule

LA’s Free & Easy Teams With Vans Vault For A West Coast Capsule

Arguably one of the most consistent collaborative brands of this generation, skate brand Vans has impressed fans with many a partnership throughout this first year in the new decade. Especially as of late, since we’ve seen the Anaheim-headquartered imprint link up with a handful of entities in the fashion space including Depop, WTAPS, and Taka Hayashi. And now, to start off the new month, Vans Vault is now teaming up with So-Cal neighbors Free & Easy to assemble together a new capsule that draws heavy influences from West Coast lifestyle.

The assortment is a story told through three iconic staples including the Era LX, Old Skool LX, and the Sk8-Hi. The first and second-mentioned pairs are somewhat similarly-styled in the sense that they outfit their quarter panels with beachy/sunset-esque yin-and-yang patterns, only they differentiate themselves from each other as the Era is surrounded by “Marshmallow” suede overlays, while the Old Skool comes packaged in “Dress Blues”. Furthermore, two Sk8-Hi’s are on the way, including “Dress Blues” and “Mango Mojito” colorways, both which include the Free & Easy’s signature “Don’t Trip” slogan embroidered by the ankle collars. Grab a closer look at each take here ahead, and find these hitting Vans.com and select retailers come September 4th for $90-$100 a pop.

For other news, Nike is dropping a Blazer Mid Spider Web colorway in time for Halloween.
