The New Jordan Women’s Reign Blends The Air Jordan 13 With The VaporMax 2020

The New Jordan Women’s Reign Blends The Air Jordan 13 With The VaporMax 2020

NIKE, Inc. could likely only release Michael Jordan’s original signature sneaker every month and call it a great year. Jordan Brand, however, is always seeking to innovate, especially in a manner that nods to its basketball heritage. And the Jordan Women’s Reign, a new silhouette, does just that.

As its name suggests, the model is a women’s-exclusive option that blends the Jordan 13 with VaporMax 2020 cushioning. A dimpled leather underlay, which also appears on the Women’s Air Jordan OG from 1998, is accompanied by a sleek overlay that extends from the tongue to the heel in a bootie-like construction. The holographic, panther-eye-like emblem animates the lateral side, while a midfoot zipper interrupts the medial side’s arrangement. As with running-oriented silhouettes, the Women’s Reign is built at ankle height. The cushioning underfoot delivers the latest VaporMax’s comfort to the Air Jordan-inspired design.

An official release date hasn’t been confirmed, but this new silhouette arrives to Nike.com within the coming months. Until then, enjoy a look at inaugural pairs here below.

For more from the Jumpman Brand, the colorful Jordan 1 Bio Hack arrives on September 4th.
