The Nike Pegasus Trail 2 GORE-TEX Arrives In “Pure Platinum”

As the world gradually leaves its shelter-in-place and heads out into nature to make up for months spent indoors, footwear and apparel to traverse the elements is in-season again. NIKE, Inc. is likely to unveil its offering of both via its Nike ACG label soon, the it’s just revealed a product for the former. Enter: The Pegasus Trail 2 GORE-TEX.

Launched shortly after the Pegasus 37, the trail-ready silhouette packages Zoom Air and React foam cushioning in a sleek design. Given the model’s bicycle tire-like rubber outsoles, it’s no surprise that the durable and resistant GORE-TEX coating has found its way onto the Pegasus Trail 2. Lifestyle equivalents of the Air Force 1 have historically opted into muted green and black color palettes, but this forthcoming pair indulges in a “White/Pure Platinum/Light Smoke Grey” arrangement begging to get dirty, The elastic band at the heel, label on the tongue, and medial profiles are all branded with either “GORE-TEX” or “GTX” text, ensuring those on the market for waterproof footwear know exactly what they’re looking at.

Enjoy official images of the Pegasus Trail 2 GORE-TEX here below, as you wait for more information on a Nike.com launch.
