The Nike Air Force 1 High GORE-TEX Gets A Season-Ready Black And Gum

The Nike Air Force 1 High GORE-TEX Gets A Season-Ready Black And Gum

Nike Sportswear has (arguably) been unrivaled in regards to transitioning footwear from performance to lifestyle wear. It’s best example is unquestionably the Air Force 1, which is gearing up for the upcoming fall and winter with the help of GORE-TEX.

While not new to the model’s tallest height, the waterproof material is now accompanied by a reworked strap and outsole. All-“Black” leather sits atop a “Light Gum Brown” sole unit, with the former featuring rubber, Prada Linea Rossa-like lockdown across the collar. “GORE-TEX” branding is embroidered onto the lateral heel, while profile swooshes and canvas-reminiscent pull tabs on the spine indulge in reflective detailing. Underfoot, the tread has been reworked, just as the entire sole unit has seemingly been divided into two components for a chunkier arrangement.

An official release date is unknown, but this Air Force 1 High GORE-TEX is likely to launch on Nike.com soon. In the meantime, enjoy official images of the pair here below.

For more from NIKE, Inc., the Jordan Zoom 92 has recently surfaced in an ostensibly “Black Cat”-inspired colorway.

UPDATE (10/15/2020):
This Nike Air Force 1 High GORE-TEX is launching on Nike SNKRS on October 28th.
