The Nike Waffle Racer Crater Gets A Lunar Grey/Black Colorway

The Nike Waffle Racer Crater Gets A Lunar Grey/Black Colorway

While yet to see the widespread attention of sacai‘s retro-inspired collaborations, the Nike Waffle Racer Crater has gradually accumulated an impressive roster. A “Hyper Crimson”-accented pair has recently joined said team.

Constructed with a mixture of textured materials, the upper on on this eco-friendly model is clad in greyscale. Profile swooshes, however, interrupt the muted color palette with their high-vis arrangement, which delivers a new take on the vintage branding found on the tongue label. Exposed, zig-zag stitching throughout the sidewalls and across the tongue further inject personality to the Nike Sportswear proposal, while Crater Foam sole units from the Space Hippie line aid the Swoosh in its “Move to Zero” campaign.
