Nike Zoom Freak 2 “Dusty Amethyst” Arriving On October 15th

Nike Zoom Freak 2 “Dusty Amethyst” Arriving On October 15th

Giannis Antetokounmpo may still be on an NBA ring chase, but his Nike Zoom Freak 2 has quickly become one of the most celebrated signature sneakers in recent memory. Ahead of Halloween, the performance model is launching in a “Black/Metallic Silver/Dusty Amethyst” arrangement.

While free of the “in-your-face” aesthetic of the inaugural “Naija” option, the forthcoming pair warrants attention in its own way. The predominantly textile and mesh upper indulges in a tonal color scheme, but profile swooshes interrupt it in a quasi-shimmering grey hue. Part of the 25-year-old’s nickname further contrasts the “Black” base on the tongue, but Antetokounmpo’s logo on the lateral heel introduces a mesmerizing purple tone. Decouple, Zoom Air-equipped sole units further opt for an understated palette, but tread made specifically for the Greece-native’s game rounds out the design in a semi-translucent “Dusty Amethyst.”

Enjoy official images of this Zoom Freak 2 here below, and find pairs available at retail come October 15th.

For more from the Swoosh, the Off-White Rubber Dunk is set to debut on October 1st.
