The Hundreds Utilizes Recycled Materials For Their Puma Future Rider Collaboration

Spending their time growing their athlete roster lately with the acquisitions of PSG’s Neymar and NBA draft prospect LaMelo Ball, the Puma family is now shifting their focus towards their collaborative footwear projects. Capping off the month of November, the sportswear imprint is linking up with LA-based streetwear brand The Hundreds to create a sustainably-made Puma Future Rider collaboration.

Designed with intentions of increasing awareness around our environmental impact, this rendition’s upper is comprised of eco-friendly materials such as recycled mesh and rubber, as well as chrome-free leathers. Visually, they possess a playful color arrangement that includes nurse scrub green base layers and overlays near the ankle, suede paneling that alternates between yellow in the rear and orange at the toe tips, an eggplant purple side stripes. Additionally, the midsoles are adorned with that of Bobby Hundreds’ signature bomb logo, the Puma insignia, and “Go Green” inspired hits such as the globe, a leafy icon, and an actual statement on the heels saying that the shoes were made of 80% recycled materials to further emphasize its earthy motif.
