The Nike Air Max 2090 “3M” Applies The Iconic “Volt” Colorway

The Nike Air Max 2090 “3M” Applies The Iconic “Volt” Colorway

NIKE, Inc.’s upcoming capsule with 3M already boasts a Nike Air Max 2090, but it’s adding a greyscale option accented by “Volt” into the mix.

Previously seen on an accompanying Air Max 90, the neon green hue takes a much more central role on the Swoosh’s futuristic silhouette. Various shades of grey and black take over the mixed-materials upper, with the latter covering mudguards, tongues and heel logos. Inline with the North American manufacturer’s famous Scotchlite™ material, lateral swooshes and rear panels feature a shimmering finish, while branding on the tongue and pull tabs at the heel are ostensibly comprised of the reflective component. Exposed stitching across the midfoot and Air Max branding throughout the pair indulge in the high-vis tone. By contrast, sole units forgo any eye-catching colors in favor of a simple black/white palette.

An official Nike.com release date is still unknown, but this Air Max 2090 is likely to launch before 2020 ends. Until then, enjoy official images of the shoes here below.
