The Reebok Question Mid “Halloween” Features Tear-Away Uppers

The Reebok Question Mid “Halloween” Features Tear-Away Uppers

Although foliage and colder, wetter weather are tell-tale signs that summer is over, so are iconography and color palettes associated with Halloween. Reebok is among the sneaker players that have prepped a footwear collection for the spookiest day of the year. Its headliner?: A Question Mid featuring tombstone and ghost graphics in addition to tear-away uppers.

Clad in “Alabaster,” this take on Allen Iverson‘s first signature sneaker is understated. Further inspection, however, reveals special touches across the tonal proposal. Heels forgo the traditional “3” logos at the tooling in favor of tombstone motifs. Elsewhere, sockliners complement their “Reebok” branding with zombie-reminiscent hands and ghouls ostensibly mid-“BOO!” Arguably surprising, vector logos on the tongue don’t partake in the festivities, but their surroundings do. The pair’s premium suede can be torn away either by wear or design to reveal an abstract pattern replete with streaks of black, orange, yellow, green and purple. By contrast, sole units opt into a clean palette that includes a beige translucent outsole perfect for glow-in-the-dark capabilities.

Enjoy a look at the question Mid “Halloween” here below, and find select retailers carrying the sneaker beginning on October 14th.

In other news from Reebok, the brand has appointed Pyer Moss‘ Kerby Jean-Raymond Vice President, Creative Direction.
