Nike Air Vapormax Plus Appears In Heroic “Captain Marvel” Colors

Since it first set foot into the sneaker market back in January 2018, the Nike VaporMax Plus has been known to release a consistent stream of colorways all-year round. Following the recent unveiling of its bright pink-to-purple gradient colorway last month, the silhouette is broadening its Fall lineup with another entry that one can somewhat associate with a specific superhero.

Due to the nature of its gradient uppers that transition from blue in the front and red in the rear, this iteration almost channels the costume of Captain Marvel. And while not officially tied to the extraterrestrial Kree warrior, the pair ushers in additional accents of yellow atop the midsole molds and heel treading that one can argue matches up perfectly with her heroic suit. If you’re interested in adding these to your rotation, you can expect them to land on Nike.com likely within the coming weeks for $200 USD.

For other news, a first look at the Frame Skate Nike SB Dunk Low Habibi have emerged.

Updated 11/30/20: The Nike Vapormax Plus “Urban Jungle Gym” releases on December 12th.
