Nike Air Force 1 Low “1-800” Features Retro-Style Dial Up Lace Dubrae

Inspiration for NIKE, Inc.’s line of products comes from everywhere. From Japanese “bullet” trains to the transportation of the future, muses for some of the most beloved sneakers from the last 56 years vary in obscurity. Yet, some products are quite direct with what’s inspired them. Among them, the recently-surfaced Nike Air Force 1 “Toll Free.”

Predominantly clad in “White,” the forthcoming pair features various motifs related to a toll-free hotline across its leather upper. “NIKE AIR” branding on the tongue is replaced with “1-800” text, which also appears all-throughout the sockliner. Heel panels also sport the four digits, joining each panel on this Air Force 1 Low‘s top-half in nodding to not only the free-of-charge phone number, but also other thematic details. Although barely discernible, “TOLL FREE!,” “CALL NOW” and “TODAY” text is printed onto every corner of the pair’s upper (save for the “Vast Grey” profile swooshes). And while impressive, these details are arguably overshadowed by the “AF1” lace dubraes styled after the metal keypads of telephones from yesteryear. Underfoot, midsoles further nod to the past with their “Sail” finish, while the silhouette’s classic outsole reverts back to an all-“White” arrangement.

A Nike SNKRS launch date is still unknown, but this Air Force 1 is likely to launch in the coming months. In the meantime, enjoy a closer look at the pair ahead.

Elsewhere under the Swoosh umbrella, official images of the LeBron 18 “Bred” have recently emerged.

UPDATE (10/29/2020):
The Nike Air Force 1 “1-800” has had its launch date delayed until November 20th.
