New Balance 990v5 Pairs Up Carbon And Team Red For November Arrival

New Balance 990v5 Pairs Up Carbon And Team Red For November Arrival

Despite the strides its made within the performance-basketball space, New Balance has not loosened its grasp on the lifestyle space throughout 2020. As part of its Fall 2020 roster, the Boston-based brand is launching the New Balance 990v5 silhouette in a multi-colored ensemble featuring “Team Red” and “Carbon” accents.

At a glance, this take on the 990v4 successor appears patriotic, but closer inspection reveals a much more experimental arrangement. The mesh base and its slew of leather overlays indulge in different shades of white, while premium suede panels boast a faded black hue. Profile ‘N” logos and plastic structures near the collar introduce the aforementioned grey tone into the mix. “Team Red” takes over detailing at the toe, on and around the tongue, heel and outsole. Midsole foam is given a faint pink tint, which adds some peculiar flair to the pair’s otherwise dark palette.

This 990v5 is set to arrive to NewBalance.com and select retailers on November 1st for $175 USD.
