Nike Adapt Auto Max Arriving In Triple-Black

Nike Adapt Auto Max Arriving In Triple-Black

Although some of the most iconic technological advancements depicted in the “Back to the Future” series have yet to become reality, one of them has thanks to NIKE, Inc.: self-lacing footwear. And while not widely-adapted, the “power-lacing” equivalent has made strides because of models like the Nike Adapt Auto Max, which is slated to launch in a triple-black colorway soon.

Since launching on Air Max Day 2020, the silhouette has appeared in ensembles featuring eye-catching “Infrared,” orange and “Volt.” Its latest proposition forgoes any vibrant tone, but still makes a statement with both its versatile color palette and future-forward design. Swoosh and “air” branding throughout the pair indulge in a glossy finish, while the heel structure and its connected sole unit boast a matte aesthetic. Buttons to loosen and tighten the Nike Air Max-descendant grace the lateral midsole, and glow in a rich green hue when activated. As evidenced by its tread pattern, this silhouette isn’t for performance-sport, unlike its Adapt BB 2.0 counterpart, but it equally furthers the Swoosh’s plans to create a world of auto-lacing footwear.

Enjoy official images of this Adapt Auto Max here below, and expect pairs to hit Nike SNKRS soon for $400 USD.

Elsewhere under the Swoosh umbrella, the Blazer Mid ’77 has recently emerged in a handful of multi-colored arrangements.

UPDATE (11/06/2020):
The release date has been confirmed for November 27th, 2020.
