Among this year’s most prolific revivals, the Nike Zoom Spiridon Cage 2 first made headway at the beginning of the Spring with a bit of help from a well-timed Stussy collaboration. And since then, we’ve seen the silhouette dressed in a number of GR schemes, including this upcoming Sesame colorway.
Much like the black alternate revealed earlier in the week, the “Sesame” adopts a somewhat novel material composition. The underlays, though commonly constructed of mesh, now bear a premium suede that is neighbored by a cage of oatmeal-colored leathers. A grid-cut film of paneling wraps underneath at the forefoot and profile, while the slimmer pieces adjacent prefer a much smoother, pristine finish. Branding then rounds off in complementing shades atop the textured tongue and the synthetic counter.
