Following their anime-eyed Arc’teryx shells, Toronto’s Better Gift Shop is turning their attention to footwear as they link up with Vault By Vans to create two “never-before-seen” colorways of the Style 36 and Half Cab.
Across both, the imprint has imbued their trademark penchant for light blue, using it atop the suede mid-panel of the Style 36 and the overlays of the complementing Half Cab. Adjacent, a marshmallow white complements in the same robust material, its lighter finishing accented over top with a contrast stitch that matches the aforementioned cool tone. Then, after each silhouette’s typical branded fixtures, Better Gift Shop has included a graphic-dressed sockliner that displays their flagship’s bold signage.
“Blue suede shoes are a classic. Selfishly, we’ve always wanted our own version,” said Co-Founder and Designer, Kevin Li. “Vans gave us that opportunity.”
