A New Nike Blazer Mid ’77 Features Black Suede And Gum Soles

Recent collaborations with brands such as Off-White and sacai evince the Nike Blazer‘s perpetual popularity. But even without the attachment to major designer labels, the Blazer has maintained a fanbase since the 1970s. The Nike Blazer Mid ’77 “Black Gum” arrives in black suede and gum soles for a timeless look that would appease old and new Blazer fans alike.

Black suede constructs the model’s uppers, making the pair a strong candidate for a fall and winter sneaker rotation. Sharply deviating from texture and color, white leather is used for the Swoosh and heel panel. The tongue sports a white label and exposed yellow foam that seems to be a nod to the model’s age. By opting for gum soles, extra warmth is added to the model’s overall color palette to create a versatile sneaker.

The Nike Blazer Mid ’77 “Black Gum” is available now, for $100. Check out the official images here below. In other Blazer news, check out the new Blazer Low “Hyper Pink”.
