Dropping on December 3rd is the first women’s exclusive colorway of the Dunk High SP, Nike’s true-to-the-OG reissue of the classic mid-80s basketball shoe. This “Varsity Purple” colorway achieves that school-based color-blocking as it faetures a perfect shade of purple with a white leather base, while golden embroidery is used for the logo on the tongue label. Here’s where it gets a bit…confusing. Rather than going for a solid rubber outsole to color-match the upper, Nike has opted for a translucent sole with a purple tincture. while the interior lining is finish with a satin-like surface. Furthermore, the tongue has a smooth leather face opposed to the nylon mesh seen in the recent Dunk High Spartan and Dunk High Michigan drops. Disappointing? Maybe, but whatever your reaction, these Nike Dunks are dropping on December 3rd in women’s sizing for $120.
