From the ostrich skin-like Safari print that has famously graced the atmos Air Max 1 to the elephant print as seen on the iconic Air Jordan 3 Black Cement, Nike has a fine collection of original animal prints. Less talked about is the brand’s vibrant orange leopard print, which is featured on an upcoming women’s Nike Blazer Mid ’77.
The pair is close to being the white version of an earlier black leopard print Blazer Mid, with some differences in materials and amount of leopard print used. The model boasts leather uppers and a rubber midsole that are both white, enabling the gray suede panels towards the front to create contrast. Even the branding on the tongue and heel aim for a tonal match to create the ideal blank canvas for the bright animal print. The leopard print is finally introduced by the Swooshes on the sides, bringing a classic silhouette to the wild side.
