Social Status Teases Its Limited-To-3,020-Pairs adidas Ultra4D Collaboration

After making history with the then-hopeful, now-Vice President elect Kamala Harris earlier this month, Social Status is ending the year with an adidas 4D collaboration limited to just 3,020 pairs.

Revealed on social, the pair arrives after an adidas Consortium stop in New Jersey to visit Packer Shoes. Unlike that collaborative proposition, however, the North Carolina-based boutique’s features a slew of autumn-appropriate tones: olive green wraps around the forefoot, while a muted orange joins the mix around the Primeknit forefoot and tongue, as well as the suede profile 3-Stripes. An apple-reminiscent red takes over the breathable collar area and the “ULTRA4D”-branded heel structure. For its latest adidas collaboration, Social Status has opted to keep the 3D-printed midsole neutral, ostensibly in a light shade of the tooling’s inaugural “Aero Green” scheme. Yet, data-driven tread indulges in the brownish hue that appears at the midfoot.

Full release details haven’t been disclosed, but the limited pair will launch exclusively at Social Status. Given the boutique’s on-going commitment to social justice, a chance to secure one of the 3,020 pairs may require participation in advocacy of the Black community. For further details, however, keep it locked here.

Elsewhere under the Three Stripes umbrella, the ZX 6000 goes inside-out for its next arrangement.
