Dime Blends Skate And Basketball With Reebok Kamikaze II Low Collaboration

Dime Blends Skate And Basketball With Reebok Kamikaze II Low Collaboration

Fresh off the unveiling of its pan-Africanism-inspired collaboration with Patta, Reebok has announced a footwear capsule with Montreal’s Dime. Instead of the Club C, however, both brands have converged on the Kamikaze II Low.

Reimagining Shawn Kemp’s iconic signature sneaker as skateboarding-ready, the Canadian label has converted the ’90s staple into a low-top silhouette. Shades of “Royal/Sonic Green,” “Black/White” and yellow/black adorn each of the three pairs in the forthcoming collection. Leather overlays appear atop ostensibly nubuck underlays, with co-branding accenting the lateral forefoot (Reebok) and heel (Dime). Underfoot, outsoles don’t distract from the upper’s arrangement, although the tonal “Black” pair’s boasts a semi-translucent blue finish.

Enjoy images of the upcoming pairs here below, and find each sneaker arriving to Dime on December 5th. A wider launch will take place on December 12th.
