While much focus has been placed on new Air Jordan 1s to be released as part of the Jordan brand’s Holiday 2020 lineup, the collection still has other upcoming hype-worthy releases. The Air Jordan 9 “University Blue” is a prime example, as a UNC-inspired color scheme dresses an Air Jordan that could soon become a new favorite for many.
Set to debut in a full family size run, the colorway is comparable to the originals due to the colorblocking. While both offerings share a white leather base, the upcoming arrangement’s black panels have a glitter-like grain texture and are contrasted by hits of University Blue used for the branding on the heel and tongue.
